I'm sick of living out of a duffel bag (reddit.com)
I moved out when I turned 18 for family reasons. I didn't really have anywhere to go so I stayed with my girlfriend for a few months before I went off to college. Since then I haven't lived in the same place for more than 6 months and I don't have a permanent address. I just moved across the country transferring to a different university and the only thing I brought was a duffel bag, and it held almost all of my possessions. I'm jumping from city to city and I'm never in one place long enough to settle down. I'm extremely frugal in what I buy because I know I'll have to sell, donate, or throw it out after a few months. It's wearing me down and right now my biggest fantasy is being able to call someplace home, to be able to buy things without worrying about having to offload them. submitted by /u/russianaut [link] [comments]
