My reaction shouldn’t have been “Dammit not again” (reddit.com)
I’m 19 years old and I live in the USA I woke up this morning and checked Twitter as I usually do. The first thing I saw was that 12 people had died in a mass shooting in a California bar. My first reaction was not sorrow that people had died and it wasn’t shock as to how someone could do such a thing. It was “God dammit not again.” It was anger not only that another atrocity that led to the death of innocent lives, but also at the fact that I’m so damn desensitized to this shit.
